Mom’s Weekend in Austin a Success
Pike’s 2nd Annual Mother’s Weekend was held the weekend of April 15th. 70 Pike moms joined their sons in Austin for a weekend of fun and bonding. Friday night saw a cocktail hour hosted at the popular establishment Speakeasy with a gorgeous view overlooking the Austin skyline. Saturday included a banquet hosted at the house and a comedy show at the always fun Esther’s Follies later that evening. It was wonderful for actives to meet all the moms and see from where most of the members’ redeeming qualities are derived!
This weekend would not have been possible without the help of the wonderful Pike Parents Council and especially those in charge of Mom’s Weekend. A huge thank you to Tracey Hopper (Jonathan ’15), Tiff Roberts (Nathan ’15) and Stephanie Offill (Matt ’14) for their organizational work and for everything they do for the chapter.
